| Greens: |  7/10 | Greens and the fringe was good. Greens were on the small side. They were in the mid to fast range and had been cut quite short. Putts rolled well. One green had a bare spot probably due to lack of sun as it was tucked back in and surrounded by trees. I only noticed one bunker on the course. |
| Fairways: | 7/10 | Grass on the fairways was good but starting to show some brown spots from the heat. Did notice two bunkers that they had let go and were growing a lot of weeds. The fairways were wide and forgiving. |
| Tees: | 5/10 | Tees started out good but seemed to have less care as we played the nine. Ball washers, benches were at the tees. It appeared that new tees were being put in as some distance markers did not seem to reflect the tee boxes. Number eight had no marking and had to use the score card. |
| Course Design: | 5/10 | The first 3 holes are all dog legs and are surrounded by nice mature spruce and popular trees. Then on holes 5, 6 part of 7, 8 and 9 you are out on wide field but 6 and 7 greens are surrounded by trees. Number 8 was a par three with nothing to make it interesting. The fairways were marked at 100,150 and 200 yards. The course is flat and easy walking. There was a long walk between 8 green and 9 tee as well as a walk from 9 green to club house. |
| Value for $$$: | 6/10 | The value was good as the price reflects the course. With seniors and two for ones, the price is less than going to a movie. |
| Difficulty: | 4/10 | Not a difficult course. Once you have played it you will know what to hit for the doglegs. |
| Scenery: | 6/10 | The woods that take up 1/2 the course area are very nice. The cart path was a dirt path and limited. |
| Staff: | 5/10 | We never had much contact with the staff. The couple we meet in the club were very pleasant. |
| Clubhouse: | 5/10 | A newer clubhouse. The food must be good as a number of locals were eating there. Small proshop with supplies and a menu that is typical for a golf course. |
| Other Intangibles: | 5/10 | There is a camp ground where you could park your RV and play some golf. You could also walk into town from there. The area around the club house was nice and there was plenty of parking in gravel parking lot. Did not see a beverage cart that day. The weather that day was great with high temperatures and blue sky. The course was not crowded and it was easy to find your way around. There was a small putting green between 9 and the clubhouse. |

This course, I would say is an average country town course. It is a nice way to spend a day at a reasonable rate. If you were a low handicap golfer you would not enjoy it as much. |
